Life Update: 6 Months Out of College

Hellooooooo beautiful readers!

I'm sorry I haven't been as active on here lately! I've had some very busy times in my little life and I'm excited to share with you today what exactly I've been up to. As you all know, I really love my life. I work really hard to make sure that my happiness first and foremost stems from me. That's kind of the way I've always been.

I can absolutely say that I'm very much still in love with life. I love the people in my life, I love my job, I love where I live, I love that I have everything I need to be happy and satisfied. I don't think I can think of more than a handful of things I pray for because I always feel like I have it all.

It's tough being out of college though. You can't just skip work like you skipped classes. Also, if you do end up taking a sick day or a holiday day from work, you still have to make up your work. It's not like a sick day of class at all. I also think it's pretty wild how much adults work. Some days I get in at 8 and don't leave until 7. That's a really long time spent dedicated to working, when before all of that time was kind of focused on me, myself, and I. However, I think this is one of the reasons why it's so important to find a job you enjoy and feel yourself making an impact with.

I also think the friends that you have after college are the ones that you're crazy about! It's the best feeling grabbing dinner or drinks with a really good friend after a crazy week at work. It's also the best feeling picking up right where you left off and catching up on each others lives.

Blogging has also been going great! I really wish I had more time for it because I enjoy it SO MUCH! I love getting to share my life with you guys. I wish I had more time to film videos, take photos, do more local business collaborations. However, being at work 9-5 and the sun going down right afterwards can make it really hard to! I need to also invest in some indoor lighting so that I am able to take more indoor photos on my own! Don't worry, I'm still going to be all about Life of Aani ;)

Well, that's pretty much the gist of it! If there's anything bigger that happens in my life, I'll make sure to have a separate post all about it!

  1. GIRL I feel you on the "adults work so much," thing. I'm seriously counting the days until I pay off my student loans and can reduce my work to part time.

  2. I missed reading your posts AAni, hope you have a great valentines day.
