It's my first time not having to go to class every single day, and that means I'm officially adult-ing. I'll make a whole separate post about what I've been up to and what I'm working on at the moment, but for now, enjoy this Fall OOTD!

A Stay-cation at the Embassy Suites by Seattle North Lynnwood

Last weekend, I planned a super fun stay-cation (like a vacation, but you stay closer to home) with my mom and sister. It was one of the most fun weekends we've had in a really long time! We decided to go explore an area a little ways away from our home so we stayed at the newly-renovated Embassy Suites by Seattle North Lynwood.

Hair Update!

Today I'm sharing a huge hair update with you! My hair had gotten pretty long for me, and this weekend, I pulled the trigger on getting a haircut finally! I loveeee long hair, but after my hair reaches a certain point, it stops growing. I also just feel more like myself with medium or short length hair. I'm a short gal, so obviously having short hair is something that has always just matched.

Night at the Pacific Northwest Ballet

Hello!

Recently, I attended Emergence with my sister at Pacific Northwest Ballet. I absolutely LOVED the performance! It was much more moving than I expected it to be! I also loved how on lovely the orchestra was. There's nothing like a classy night out on the town to make your weekend perfect.

Hi Hi Hi! I hope you're having an amaaaaazing week! I've been getting SO many questions regarding social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and how to gain engagement (followers, likes, saves, etc.) and I wanted to take some time today to come on here and talk about it and give you my honest advice! Hellooooo beautiful readers! I'm so happy to finally share with you the events of the Blue Nile Blogger Event I attended a few weeks back. I can't believe I've just gotten the time to share about it because I had so much fun at it and completely fell in love with their new Summer pieces! Honestly, everything I share with you, I really do love very much and would never bring something to your attention if I didn't absolutely think it was worth sharing. This has to be one of my favorite brands because of the quality, craftsmanship, and designs. 

6 Months of Blogging!

A couple days ago, I spent the afternoon talking things over with one of my best friends. She had been out of the country and traveling, but we picked up right where we left off. Every time I talk to her in these long conversations of ours, I always end up learning more about myself. This time, I really got to reflect on my blogging journey and what's come of it. In the last year, my life has taken some drastic turns and changes. When I launched my Instagram in July and my blog in December of 2016, I had no idea how much it would help me grow as a person and how drastically different my life would look like thanks to it. I can say that it’s been one of the greatest blessings in my life to date.

My Graduation Party ft. Kendra Scott

As many of you know or have seen, I almost always have a dainty necklace around my neck. I've always felt like it was just enough for any occasion. One of my favorite pieces of jewelry was recently replaced by a Kendra Scott Alicia Necklace because of how intricate the details on it were. The clasp was so easy to open and close, the metal of the necklace was the perfect shade of gold, even the gem in the middle helped accentuate my skin's natural undertones. I quickly fell in love with the brand and began collecting all sorts of jewelry from Kendra Scott.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to attend a fashion show for a local Seattle brand: Kahini Kreative. I had so much fun looking at the custom made pieces and designs. National Puppy Day & The Seattle Humane Society

If you should know one thing about me, and only one, it should be that I love animals! I love pets the most though because they provide so much companionship, unconditional love and support, and a sense of responsibility. That's why, for this National Puppy Day (March 23rd) I teamed up with the Seattle Humane Society to shed a light on their amazing shelter and adoptable pets! Everyone needs a pet, and there's nothing better than saving a pet's life by adopting a shelter animal. Below, you can find out details about the shelter, the perks to adopting from a shelter, and ways to help animals in need.

Spring Open House: Zoe's Events

This past Tuesday evening, I was invited to attend the most stunning event! The event was an Open House or feature of Zoe's Event Space, an event planning service and location located in Capitol Hill. There was great music, delicious food, and I felt very pampered! The location and vibe of the room was as "Seattle" as it gets. It was the perfect place to have a wedding, party, or other celebration. I love attending events at such beautiful places that make me fall in love with Seattle all over again! My favorite parts of the night included getting to learn how to make floral crowns with Thatch Floral (who always amazes me with her floral skills), enjoying my time in the lovely courtyard outside, and listening to the band! 

New Hair, New Year: Gene Juarez Salon

Every single year I try to grow out my hair, but after it reaches a certain length (usually around chest level), it stops growing. Lucky for me, that's usually also around the time I need a change every year. Even thought I get trims every 2-3 months, I love having a drastic change to start of the year. This year, I went from blunt cut balayage at chest length to a short very texturized bob with face framing layers. This was all thanks to Gene Juarez Salon and my lovely hairstylist Clarissa. I love going to her because she always takes my locks from flat to fab. I asked for lots of texture and it make sure it didn't look like a "soccer mom haircut" and she did just that! 

Expressions of Style Fashion Show

MY EXPERIENCE

Today I wanted to talk about my experience at the Expressions of Style Fashion show that took place in Redmond, Washington on December 10th. The fashion show focused on modest beauty and featured international fashion designers as well as some local ones.
